Installation and Configuration of CCTV Surveillance, Networking, and PABX System

Project Description:

Our company, IT LINK, was hired by Mian Shafiq Business International to complete a full setup of their surveillance, communication, and networking systems. The main purpose of this project was to help the client improve the security of their premises, create a reliable internal phone system, and set up a smooth and stable computer network for daily operations.

What We Did:

1. CCTV Surveillance System:

• We installed high-quality CCTV cameras at key locations inside and outside the building.
• Cameras were placed to cover all important areas, including entrances, exits, offices, hallways, and storage areas.
• We connected the cameras to a Network Video Recorder (NVR) system, which allows the client to record, view, and playback footage at any time.
• The CCTV system is also accessible remotely, so the client can view live footage from their mobile devices or computers.
• We provided training to their staff on how to use the system, including how to check recordings and monitor the cameras in real-time.

2. Networking Setup:

• We installed structured network cabling throughout the building to connect all computers and devices to a central network.
• We set up and configured network switches and routers to ensure smooth data flow and internet access across all departments.
• The network was designed to be fast, stable, and secure, supporting all day-to-day office work, including internet usage, file sharing, and CCTV connectivity.
• We made sure the network can be easily upgraded in the future if the business expands.

3. PABX Telephone System:

• We installed a PABX (Private Automatic Branch Exchange) system to handle internal and external phone calls.
• Extension lines were connected to all offices and departments, allowing employees to call each other easily.
• The PABX system was also connected to external lines so that the company can make and receive calls from outside.
• We configured features like call forwarding, call waiting, and voicemail, making the system more efficient for the office environment.
• Our team gave a demo to the staff on how to use the system effectively.
